MHK Turkey Trot 5K
The MHK Turkey Trot is a 5K held in Manhattan, Kansas on Thanksgiving Day. The course starts and finishes in Aggieville, follows streets through the city, passes around City Park, and runs down Poyntz Ave. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Flint Hills Breadbasket.
By 2026 the event will be in its 11th year and often draws upwards of 1500 participants. Organizers describe the run as a community and family event that takes place before Thanksgiving meals and has become a local tradition for many residents and visitors.
