Tindall Orthodontics Be My Valentine 5K and 1.5 Mile Walk
The event takes place on February 13, 2027, at 800 Anneberg Circle in Manhattan, Kansas. It includes in-person running and walking options and a virtual 5K option for participants who cannot attend on site.
Race offerings:
- 3.1 Miles: 5K run with individual and two-person team prizes.
- 1.5 Miles: Leisurely walk around the Anneberg Park pond and adjacent trail.
- 3.1 Miles (virtual): Run remotely and submit results; virtual fee supports the Manhattan High School cross country program.
All registered finishers receive a custom-made Running Cupid medal. The 5K includes two-person team competition with prizes awarded by combined finishing time. Team categories include Male-Female, Female-Female, and Male-Male. Team awards are also given by combined age groups: 40-under, 41-80, and 81-over.
Registration opens August 14, 2026. In-person registration closes February 2, 2027; virtual registration closes February 12, 2027. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1.5 mile walk and virtual 5K. The in-person event is capped at 350 participants for 2027.
Proceeds benefit the Manhattan High School cross country program and other running opportunities for area youth in the Flint Hills region. Registrants recruited by a fundraising partner should indicate the Manhattan High School athlete's name during registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
