Event Overview
The Run for the Rock is an annual community event held in Zeeland, Michigan. Taking place on June 6, 2026, this event marks the second year of the race and serves as the conclusion to a month-long fundraiser for Paradise Bound Ministries. All proceeds from the event are used to support the Refuge on the Rock orphanage located in Guatemala, which provides care for vulnerable children.
The event features two distinct distances:
- 5K Run
- Fun Run
Course and Timing
The 5K Run is a timed event, though the route is not USATF certified. Participants in the 5K are divided into several age groups for both male and female categories, ranging from 10 and under to 80 plus. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. The Fun Run serves as a non-timed alternative for participants. Both routes begin and end at 405 Centerstone Court.
