Run for the Rock
Run for the Rock is a charity running event held in Zeeland, MI, organized by Paradise Bound Ministries to support the Refuge on the Rock orphanage in Guatemala. Paradise Bound Ministries has worked in Guatemala since 1997. Refuge on the Rock welcomed its first child in 2011 and has provided care for more than 150 vulnerable children; funds raised by this event go directly to that ministry.
The event includes two distances and offers participant shirts with size guarantees for registrations completed by May 18; later registrants may receive shirts subject to availability. The 5K course will be chip timed while the Fun Run is not timed. The 5K route is not USATF certified. Packet pickup is available the day before at the Paradise Bound Ministries location and on race morning at the venue. Registration windows and fees are listed for each event; refunds are not offered.
Awards will be given for top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K, and the 5K has age group divisions starting at 10 and under and continuing through 80 plus.
