Run for the Rock - Zeeland, MI
Run for the Rock takes place on June 6, 2026, at Paradise Bound Ministries, 405 Centerstone Court, Zeeland, Michigan. The event includes two running options and is organized as a fundraiser to support the Refuge on the Rock orphanage in Guatemala.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Fun Run (1.5 Miles)
Registration opens November 1, 2025 and closes April 30, 2026. Registration fees listed are $30.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the Fun Run. Participants who register on or before May 14 are guaranteed a shirt in their requested size; later registrations may have limited sizes.
The 5K course will be timed; the Fun Run will not be timed. The 5K field is divided by male and female age groups with multiple age brackets and awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers for male and female. The course is not USATF certified.
All funds raised from the event will go directly to support Refuge on the Rock, previously named Open Doors Orphanage. Refuge on the Rock admitted its first child in 2011 and since then more than 150 children have lived there. Paradise Bound Ministries has worked in Guatemala since 1997.
