Run for the Peaches 5K
Run for the Peaches is a community 5K road race held in Ruston, Louisiana, with start and finish at Trinity Methodist Church. The course follows the Rock Island Greenway on an out and back route. The event is presented by RHS cross country through the Fast Cats booster club and is in its third year.
The event distance is 5K. Registration information notes a fee of $25.00, a registration opening on January 5, 2026, and a registration close date of March 6, 2026. The organizer sets May 22 as the deadline to guarantee a T shirt size; after that date shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Packet pickup locations are provided at RHS at 900 Bearcat Dr and at 1000 Woodward Dr. Awards include overall Male and Female winners and age group awards for Male and Female in these groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Overall Male and Female winners receive custom peach baskets in addition to champion medals.
