The event supports the Last Mile Fund, a scholarship that helps students cover remaining course costs in their final semesters. Individuals and teams may participate; eligible teams include community groups, student organizations, staff, and faculty. Awards are presented to top finishers by individual categories and by team. The first 250 registrants receive a t-shirt. Students are eligible for a discounted registration rate using the code student2025. The Barwick Group is named as a major sponsor and organizing partner. The course runs on the university campus and is described as using rolling hills and pathways; on-course audio is provided by William Paterson University’s BRAVE NEW RADIO.
