Run for the Last Mile 5K

This event is a 5K race and walk. It takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.

It is an officially registered, USATF-sanctioned event and a USATF-NJ Grand Prix 500 Point Race. The course goes through the university campus, described as having rolling hills and beautiful pathways. The university's radio station provides music along the route.

Proceeds from the event support the Last Mile Fund, a scholarship for students facing financial barriers in their final semesters. Registration costs $40, and a discounted rate is available for students. The first 250 registrants receive a t-shirt. Awards are given to top racers by individual categories and by team.
