Run for the Grapes Half Marathon & 5K
The event takes place at Sue Ann Staff Estate Winery, 3210 Staff Ave., Jordan ON. Two distances are offered:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The course runs through Niagara vineyards and farmland. Each kilometer is marked. The course has changed from previous editions and a course map is provided by the organizer.
The half marathon includes seven aid stations; the 5K includes one aid station. Finishers receive a medal for all distances. Participants of age will receive one free glass of Sue-Ann Staff wine after finishing.
Awards for the 5K include overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and three-deep age-group awards in 5-year increments from 14 and under to 80+. The half marathon awards overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, top master and three-deep age-group awards in 5-year increments from 14 and under to 80+. A $250 bonus is available for breaking the half marathon course record; current course records are 1:05:10 for men (2007) and 1:15:03 for women (2024).
