Jordan 5K & 1K : Jordan Arena, Jordan
This event offers two distances: a 5K and a 1K that is free for children 12 and under. Race day registration and race kit pick up are available from 8:00 to 9:30.
Timing for the 5K is provided with bib chip timing by Chiptime Results. All 5K finishers receive a finisher medal and post-race food is provided to 5K competitors. The course is flat and runs through Jordan Station village. Each kilometer is marked and there is one aid station located at 2.5 km.
An awards ceremony takes place following the race; awards must be picked up in person or by a representative as they will not be mailed. 5K awards include overall places 1 to 3, top master places 1 to 3, and age-group awards three deep in five-year categories from 14 and under through 80 plus.
The Sub 20 Club provides a custom medal to runners who complete the 5K in under 20 minutes. For safety, strollers, dogs, and bicycles are not allowed on the course and participants are strongly recommended not to wear headphones. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
