2026 Run for The Cove and Memorial Walk
The event takes place at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Connecticut. It includes a community 5K race, a 2-mile Madison Memorial Walk, and a Kids' Fun Run, alongside family-friendly activities. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and memorial walk and $10 for the kids' run. Registration opens in late June or early July for the listed events and closes in mid-October 2026.
Proceeds support The Cove’s free programs for grieving children and families across Connecticut, including the Family Program, Camp Compassion, Virtual Program, Summer Program, and Professional Development. Fundraising teams are part of the event and can be created or joined during registration. Participants who raise $30 by October 4 may receive a memorial sign with a photo to be displayed along the Memory Lane path. A T-shirt is included with registration while supplies last; sizes are not guaranteed after October 4.
