Niantic Jingle 5K

The Niantic Jingle 5K is a December running event at McCooks Point Park in Niantic, Connecticut. The event includes both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option. Online registration opens July 31, 2026. The registration fee is $25.

Proceeds support the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing, organizations focused on healing for grieving adults and on community education about suicide prevention and awareness.

The course for the in-person event follows the Niantic shoreline and is described as an easy, flat road route. Participants who cross the finish line receive a medal and awards are given to top finishers. The event program also lists a costume contest, food truck, DJ, and a visit from Santa.
