Purpose, amenities and course
Proceeds from the 19th annual Run for the Buds benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware, a non-profit that supports families and community involvement for people with Down syndrome. Race amenities include a BOCO retro pom pom beanie hat, a pair of “Rock Your Socks,” race water and fuel, and post-race drinks and food at Timothy's of Newark. A course map is provided for directional purposes.
Awards and registration notes
Awards are given for overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and the top three in each age group for male and female. Age groups listed are 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Fusion Running Club members receive a 20% registration discount.
