Run for Repairs
Run for Repairs takes place on May 30, 2026 at Lois Hornsby Middle School in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event offers multiple running and walking options and raises funds for Housing Partnerships.
The event includes:
- 8K run and 8K race walk
- 5K fun run/walk
- One mile fun run/walk
The 8K run and the 8K race walk are Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix events. The course starts and finishes at the start of the asphalt recreation trail from the school; the trail enters Freedom Park in a half mile and connects to the main park trail.
Finisher medals will be given to all participants. Awards for the 8K include top three men and women overall, top three men and women race walkers, and top three in five-year age groups from 14 and under to 75 and over. The 5K awards the top five overall men and women. There are no awards for the one mile fun run. T-shirts are provided to all pre-registered runners and walkers for the 8K, 5K, and one mile events; T-shirts for day of registration are not guaranteed.
