Run for Recovery - Oklahoma City
This annual family event takes place at Stars & Stripes Park in Oklahoma City. The main activity is a 5K run/walk on a loop course on recreational trails at Lake Hefner. Participants are welcome to bring dogs and strollers. The event also includes a 1 Mile fun run/walk.
Proceeds from the race benefit Teen Recovery Solutions (TRS), which supports teenagers struggling with substance use and operates Mission Academy High School. TRS provides recovery support, an after-school peer group, and family classes.
Packet pick-up is available on May 22 at Red Coyote in Classen Curve, or on-site from 8:00 AM on the event day. The event uses MyLaps Bib Tag timing, provides live online results, and offers finish time notifications. Photos are provided by Okie Pics. Optional race insurance is available during registration.
