Event Overview
The Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k & Merry Mile takes place at Legacy Park in Norman. The event features two distinct distances:
- Green & Grinchy 5k: A 3.1 mile certified course described as fast and flat.
- Merry Mile: A 1 mile fun run and walk.
The course is located at 1898 Legacy Park Drive, situated near I-35 and Robinson Street. The 5k participants utilize a timed course, while the 1 mile event serves as a shorter alternative for families and walkers.
Participant Amenities
All registered participants receive a custom medal and a race bib. For those in the 5k event, the bib includes a timing tag. Race shirts are available as an optional add-on during registration. The event also serves as the finale for the Norman Race Series, with series awards presented to those who have finished all qualifying races throughout the year.
Logistics
Packet pickup is organized at a local coffee shop during the week of the race, with on-site pickup also available starting one hour before the first event.
