Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k & Merry Mile
The event takes place at Legacy Park, 1898 Legacy Park Drive, Norman, OK 73069. It is a holiday-themed running event held on December 12, 2026, with activities designed for participants and families.
Distances offered:
- 5K Green & Grinchy 5k - certified flat course, timing tag for 5k participants
- 1 Mile The Merry Mile - an untimed 1 mile walk or run
All participants receive a custom medal and a custom race bib; a timing tag is provided for 5k entrants. Race shirts are available as a $15 add-on in adult and youth sizes, and any remaining shirts may be sold at the race while supplies and sizes last. The event includes holiday and Grinch-themed elements and concludes with a countdown to the park holiday lighting.
This event is part of the Norman Race Series. Norman Race Series awards will be presented at this event to participants who completed every race in the series.
