Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k & Merry Mile
The Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k and Merry Mile take place on December 12, 2026 at Legacy Park in Norman, Oklahoma. The event features two course options and family friendly holiday-themed activities, including a countdown to the park holiday lighting after the races.
Distances:
- Green & Grinchy 5k, a certified 3.1 mile fast and flat course
- Merry Mile, a 1 mile fun run and walk
All participants receive a custom medal. 5k entrants receive a race bib with a timing tag. Race shirts are available as a $15 add on for adults and youth, and any remaining shirts will be sold at the race while supplies and sizes last. The event will present Norman Race Series awards to participants who completed every race in the series. The race charity partner will be announced later.
Packet pickup is available before race week at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno, 3408 36th Ave NW, Norman. Race day packet pickup is offered on site starting one hour before the event, though organizers recommend collecting packets in advance to avoid lines.
