Loaves and Fishes and Veterans Services of the Carolinas Run for Recovery
This event in Beaufort, NC brings together a local recovery program and a veterans services organization for community support and fundraising on November 14, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Front and Craven Streets and runs along historic Front Street, passing waterfront areas and wild banker ponies. The course is USATF certified NC26019DF.

Registration opens April 1 and closes November 6. Fee structure includes early and later pricing: individual rates change after November 1, group/team pricing for teams of four or more, and an active military rate. Registrants by November 1 are entered into a raffle.
Race packet pick up is available the day before at Beaufort by the Sea Community Church and on the morning of the event. Race day packet pick up and the awards ceremony are at John Newton Park across Front Street from Clawson’s Restaurant. A post-race breakfast will be held at Ann Street United Methodist Church.
Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and medals for top male and female in each age group: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Loaves and Fishes of Beaufort provides residential substance abuse recovery services and a transition home for men. Veterans Services of the Carolinas offers housing, outreach, peer support, and programs that connect unhoused individuals with recovery and community services.
