Loaves and Fishes and Veterans Services of the Carolinas Run for Recovery
This event takes place in Beaufort, North Carolina, with start and finish at Front and Craven Streets on November 14, 2026. It features two options for participants and is organized to support Loaves and Fishes of Beaufort, a Christ-centered residential substance abuse recovery program for men, and Veterans Services of the Carolinas, which provides housing, employment, outreach, peer support, suicide prevention, and call center service coordination.

Registration opens April 1, 2026. Early registration fees through November 1 are listed as $25 per individual and $15 per person for groups of four or more. Fees increase after November 1 to $30 per person; an active military discount is listed as $15 per person. Early registrants are entered into a raffle.
Packet pick up is available Friday, November 13, 2026 at Beaufort by the Sea Community Church, 214 Turner Street, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and on the morning of the event. Race day packet pick up and awards take place at John Newton Park near the intersection of Front Street and Craven Street.
Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and age-group medals for standard age brackets. The course runs down Front Street past historic homes and waterfront sights and is USATF certified (NC26019DF). Nearby local attractions are noted in event materials.
