The event in Beaufort, North Carolina offers a timed 5K run and an untimed 5K walk, with start and finish at Turner and Front Streets.

Registration opens April 1 and closes November 6. Fee tiers apply: individual registration is $25 per person through November 1 and $30 thereafter. Group or team pricing for four or more is $15 per person through November 1 and $30 per person thereafter. Active military rate is $15 per person. Participants registered by November 1 are entered into a raffle.
Race packet pick up is available on Friday, November 13 at Beaufort by the Sea Community Church from 5 to 7 pm and also the morning of the event. Race day packet pick up and the awards ceremony take place at John Newton Park across Front Street from Clawson’s Restaurant. A post-race breakfast will be at Ann Street United Methodist Church (417 Ann St, Beaufort).
The course runs down historic Front Street along the waterfront and is USATF certified NC19005BW. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and top male and female in each age group: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Nearby attractions mentioned include Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Shackleford Island ponies, dolphins, kayaking, beach access, surf fishing, and Fort Macon.
