Run For Preservation
Run For Preservation is a fundraising 5K run/walk held on 05/03/2026 to benefit The Harford Land Trust and The Manor Conservancy. The course is set at My Lady's Manor Steeplechase Course, located at the corner of Jarrettsville Pike and Pocock Road, 3407 Pocock Rd, Monkton, MD 21111, and passes through farmland, historic estates, and protected open space.
Entry fees are structured with an early rate of $45 and a later rate of $55. The event uses professional timing provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Results will be published after the race.
Awards are given for overall finishers and by age groups. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age category, listed as under 18, 18 to 65, and 65 and over.
Following the race there will be awards and a social period described as a happy hour with finger foods, offering participants an opportunity to remain on site and gather after results are posted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
