Go Wild! Santa Cruz 2 Hr, 4 Hr

This is a map-based trail and wilderness scramble held in the open spaces of Santa Cruz, based at 305 Evergreen St. The course runs through redwood and mixed forests and across meadows. Participants navigate natural terrain and marked trails to locate checkpoints placed in the wild.

Teams may include one to five people. Using a custom map, teams search for up to twenty checkpoints within a fixed time limit. Two time formats are offered so teams choose the length of their outing.

The event concludes with a social gathering where refreshments are available. It is included in the 2026 Nav-X season series and runs on public trails and open space near Santa Cruz. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
