5th Annual Run for Our Heroes 5K
The Mayor’s Health and Wellness Council, in partnership with All Around Old Bridge, hosts the 5th Annual Run for Our Heroes 5K. The event takes place at the Township Municipal Complex at the 9/11 Memorial in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This athletic gathering focuses on community support, with all event proceeds benefiting local first responders and veterans.
The primary event offered is:
- 5K running race
Participants can collect their race bibs the day before the event during a designated window outside of the Parks and Recreation Building at the Municipal Complex. On the day of the run, an awards ceremony is held following the completion of the race. Recognition is provided for multiple age groups, ranging from 14 and under to participants aged 70 and older.
Participants who are among the first 300 to register receive a commemorative T-shirt. Those who register after this initial threshold receive a medal for their participation.
