Event overview
The 2026 Princeton 5K takes place on March 21, 2026, at Princeton High School, 151 Moore Street, Princeton. The event is in its 17th year and raises funds for Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Event offerings include:

- Kids Dash - 300 m loop for participants under 10
Kids Dash participants receive a youth-sized t-shirt and wear bib number 1. New features for 2026 include family team categories that combine two runners' times for Mother/Daughter, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, and Father/Son awards. A school competition will award a trophy to the school (students plus staff) with the highest number of participants; participants indicate their school via a drop-down menu during registration.
Registration and fees
Base entry fees listed in the event information are: 5K entry at $40 through March 20, $45 on race day (a $3 USATF discount is noted), and Kids Dash entry at $15. Shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by March 1, 2026. Participants who commit to raising at least $150 for Princeton High School XC/Track & Field will have registration fees waived up front; anyone who does not reach the fundraising minimum by April 30 will be charged the standard $45 fee.
