Run for MI Life Fun Run MACKAY
Run for MI Life Fun Run MACKAY is a community fundraising event in Walkerston, Queensland held on 18 October 2026. The event is based at Western Suburbs Leagues Club on Branscombe Road and supports local programs that promote mental health and suicide prevention. Funds raised remain local and are used for training courses and initiatives that aim to build community support and wellbeing.
The event offers multiple participation options:

- 5 km run or walk
- 3 km fun run or walk
- Virtual run any distance between 1 October and 18 October 2026
Race pack collection is scheduled for Saturday, 17 October 2026 at St Johns School Hall in Walkerston. Runners start in a set order with 10 km followed by 5 km and then 3 km; dogs, walkers, prams and scooters are directed to the back of each group. Registration categories include age related discounts for high school students, children and infants based on date of birth. Early bird and standard pricing apply; the virtual option is listed at A$20. Volunteer registration is available at no cost.
