Run/Walk/Ruck for Mental Wellness
The Run/Walk/Ruck for Mental Wellness is a multi-discipline sports event held at the Canada Games Athletic Complex on McDonald Street in Regina, Saskatchewan. Scheduled for June 6, 2026, the event raises funds for local mental health initiatives, supporting organizations such as the Canadian Mental Health Association - Regina Branch.
The event features three distinct participation modes: running, walking, and rucking. Rucking is defined as walking with a weighted rucksack or backpack to build strength and endurance. Participants can choose from several distances depending on their preferred activity:
- Run: 5 km, 15 km, and 21.1 km
- Walk: 5 km and 15 km
- Ruck: 5 km and 15 km
Registered participants for the in-person event receive a technical short-sleeve running shirt and a finishers medal. Services include chip timing and free professional race photos available for download after the event. An integrated virtual option is also available, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance independently and upload results to an online leaderboard.
Race package pickup is organized on the Friday before the event at Sticks and Doodles, or on Saturday morning at the Canada Games Athletics Complex near the main track gate. The event is held rain or shine, provided weather conditions are safe for participants and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
