Gopher Attack 2026 : description
Gopher Attack 2026 is the 20th edition presented by Sask Lotteries in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event starts in front of the Queen Building at 100 Navy Way in Wascana Park and the course winds through Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus. The route uses a 21.1 km loop certified by Athletics Canada.
The event offers in-person races and a virtual option. In-person finishers and virtual participants will receive a unique 20th Anniversary medal. In-person participants will also receive a unique 20th Anniversary swag item and will be eligible for a number of random draws. The marathon is a Boston qualifying race and the event is included in the Abbott World Marathon Majors age group rankings and championship.
The virtual option allows registration for five distances with a single entry and includes a special 20 km distance for 2026. Virtual participants have from April 26 to May 31 to complete their distances and virtual race items will be mailed.
Gopher Attack 2026 is a fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada and is hosted by Marathon Matters Running Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
