Gopher Attack
Gopher Attack is scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2027, and is presented by Sask Lotteries. The event is a fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada and is hosted by the Marathon Matters Running Club.
The marathon is described as an early spring Boston qualifier with a flat and fast course. The marathon route winds through Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus and is stated as a 21.1 km loop certified by Athletics Canada. Runners who meet Boston Marathon qualifying standards will be eligible to enter the Boston Marathon the following year.

A virtual event is offered with five distances, including a special 19 km distance noted for 2025; virtual participants have a defined completion window from April 27 to May 31 and will receive a mailed medal plus a Track & Trail discount voucher. In-person finishers receive a unique medal, a unique swag item, and a Track & Trail discount voucher.
Race packet pickup is at the Queen Building, 100 Navy Way in Wascana Park, Regina, Saskatchewan, with scheduled pickup times on the Saturday and Sunday before the event. Marathon Matters club members receive a $10 club discount plus the Race Roster fee and may purchase a membership during registration for $12.82.
