Gopher Attack
Gopher Attack is an early spring Boston Qualifier marathon in Regina, presented by Sask Lotteries and hosted by the Marathon Matters Running Club. The event is a fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada.
The marathon course winds through Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus. The route is described as flat and fast and is based on a 21.1 km loop certified by Athletics Canada.
For 2025 the in-person program includes multiple distances:
- Marathon
- Half-marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
There is also a virtual event with five distances, including a special 19 km distance for 2025. Registration for the virtual event enters participants in all five virtual distances; virtual runners have a defined window in April and May to complete their distances. Finishers receive a unique medal. In-person participants receive a unique swag item and a discount voucher from Track & Trail. Virtual participants receive a medal and the same Track & Trail discount by mail.
The in-person start is located in front of the Queen Building at 100 Navy Way in Wascana Park, Regina, Saskatchewan.
