Run For Lute 5K - Edmond, OK
The Run For Lute 5K is a memorial 5K event on June 20, 2026, held in the Cascata Falls neighborhood in north Edmond. The event supports awareness for preventive heart scans and raises funds for the Angie Snodgrass Scholarship Soccer Fund at Oklahoma Energy Football Club to help competitive youth players with financial barriers.
Two participation options are offered: an in-person 5K on a scenic loop through Cascata Falls and a virtual 5K that can be completed during race week. The course features a mix of gentle hills and shaded stretches and is described as suitable for runners and walkers. Virtual participants receive medal and event swag by mail.
Perks for in-person participants include a finisher medal, drawstring bag, water bottle, free race photos by Okie Pics, official timing by OK Runner, and a finish line announcement by a local announcer. Awards for first place overall male and female finishers are presented after the race.
Online registration closes June 19 at 11:59 pm. Packet pickup is scheduled Thursday, June 18, 3:00–7:00 pm at the Cascata Falls Pool House, 8316 Venezia Lane, Edmond OK 73034; on-site pickup is also available.
