Creek Classic
The Creek Classic is an annual community event organized by the Deer Creek Schools Foundation. The event serves as a fundraiser to support local schools, bringing together students, teachers, parents, alumni, and community members. The upcoming edition is scheduled for Saturday, March 28.
The event offers three distinct course options for participants:
- 10k
- 5k
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The races take place on a USATF certified course, ensuring standardized measurements for participants. Oklahoma Race Company provides professional timing services for the event, using a chip-time system to record results for the 5k and 10k distances. participants receive a t-shirt as part of their registration.
A community breakfast is held in conjunction with the races, hosted by the Deer Creek Cross Country and Track Booster Club. Registration include a ticket to this pancake breakfast. Individuals not participating in the runs may purchase tickets for the breakfast separately at the event.
