Run for Life 5K Run & Walk : Metamora Fields
The 41st annual Run for Life 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at Metamora Fields Golf Club, 801 W Progress St, Metamora, Illinois. The event is organized as a combined run and walk on a 5-kilometer course and uses chip timing.
Registration pricing varies by category and date. Early online registration through July 4 includes the following fees: adult 5K $34.09, kids 12 and under $18.04, and a 5K family entry (four or more immediate family members) $108.98. Registrations from July 5 through July 11 are higher and shirts are no longer guaranteed for later entries. A $5 discount is available for participants in the IVS Grand Prix series via a discount code. Participants may also choose to raise pledges in lieu of paying the entry fee to support the Right To Life cause.
Packet pickup is available at the Metamora Fields Clubhouse on the Friday before the event and on race day morning; participants may pick up packets for family or friends. Timing and scoring services are provided by ShaZam Racing.
Awards are given by overall and age groups. Overall awards recognize the top male and top female by gun time. Age group awards recognize the top three males and top three females in standard age divisions using net time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
