Run for Kids' Sake 5K Benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate hosts Run for Kids' Sake on September 19, 2026, at Lake Conestee Nature Park in Greenville, South Carolina. The event includes a community 5K run/walk and a youth fun run.
- 5K run/walk, professionally chip timed.
- 400 m fun run for youth under 10; participants do not receive an event t-shirt.
Coffee and pre- and post-race snacks are listed among event amenities. Multiple vendors are expected, including Project Host Food Truck, Girls on the Run, Wellness First Chiropractic, Upstate Therapy Dogs, and Greenville Library's Bookmobile.
Awards are announced for overall 1st place male and female and for 1st place male and female in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The 5K has a registration fee of $20.00; the 400 m fun run lists no registration fee. A shirt guarantee is tied to registration completed by August 13, 2026.
