Run For Impact : Palmer, AK
Run For Impact is a community event held at Colony High School XC trails in Palmer, Alaska. The event features a 5K trail race that starts at the front soccer field and continues on rolling grass cross-country trails with flaggers on course. The 5K course does not allow strollers or pets. All spectators and athletes must park outside the gated stadium area.
A separate Kid's Fun Run is offered for children aged 10 and under on the soccer field loop; volunteers will monitor the course and an adult should be present for each child after the run. Kid's Fun Run participation is free. Bibs are provided for the 5K and Kid's Fun Run participants will not receive bibs.
Event registration opens February 27, 2026 and closes June 11, 2026. Registration fees include a $40 entry for the 5K and no fee for the Kid's Fun Run. A family pack option is available at $120 for four family members. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by May 23. There are no bib or entry transfers, deferrals, or refunds; race protection through the registration platform is suggested for those concerned about cancellations or changes.
