Chemo Buddies Run for Hope at Ellis Park
Chemo Buddies presents the inaugural Run for Hope event on October 17, 2026, at Ellis Park in Henderson, Kentucky. The event program includes a 5K run, a 1 mile walk, and a Kids Pony Dash for children 12 and under.
The 5K follows a behind-the-scenes route through the historic Ellis Park grounds, passes the paddocks, and finishes on the main dirt race track. The course is described as a scenic tour of the facility with a finish line on the track.
The Kids Pony Dash features an inflatable pony and is limited to children aged 12 and under. Age group awards are listed for the event. An official race day T-shirt is offered; registration by September 28 guarantees shirt size.
