Run for Hope 5K
The Run for Hope 5K is held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Charles Creek Park in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Registration costs $30 and is available online until 8:45 AM on the day of the race. Participants who register by March 23rd can add a t-shirt for $5. Check-in for runners and walkers begins at 8:00 AM. The course is flat and scenic, going through the Riverside Area with views of the Pasquotank River.
This event is a fundraiser. All proceeds go to Albemarle Hopeline, Inc., an organization that has provided services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in northeast North Carolina for 40 years.
The race is manually timed by volunteers, not chip-timed. Timing ends 45 minutes after the start for award distribution. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top two male and female finishers in these age groups: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
