Coast Guard Marathon
The official foot race of the United States Coast Guard takes place in Elizabeth City, North Carolina from April 10 to April 12, 2026. The event offers both in person and virtual race options and multiple distances for participants.

The event mission is to serve as the service's premier athletic event, promote a culture of physical fitness, enhance community goodwill, and celebrate the diverse missions of the Coast Guard. Races are open to all participants, including all branches of the military and the running community at large. The 2026 edition is presented as the 6th Annual Coast Guard Marathon.
Race weekend programming includes an expo, course maps, parking information, a pasta lunch, a finish festival, awards, pace teams, and accommodations for adaptive athletes. Official race merchandise is available and race photography and results are published for participants.
A training plan has been provided by a Coast Guard Chief and running coach, and registered runners for 2026 receive access to HollarHype as an official training perk.
