Kid's First Turkey Trot
Kid's First Turkey Trot is an annual benefit running event on November 28, 2026, at Waterfront Park, 508 S. Water St., Elizabeth City, North Carolina 27909. All proceeds from the event will support Kids First Child Advocacy Center.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile Family Fun Run
Entry fees for the 5K are tiered: pre-sale pricing is $25 before July 19, early bird pricing is $32 before October 31, and regular registration is $40 after October 31. The 1 mile family run has an early bird price of $15 before October 31 and a price of $20 after October 31. Swag bags are guaranteed to 5K participants who register before October 31.
Awards are listed for the 5K and include Top Male, Top Female, Top Team, top three youth or teen finishers 17 and under, and top three finishers by age group for men and women in the following ranges: 18-29, 30-44, 45-59, and 60 plus.
