Run For Heroes 5K Run/Walk : Setauket FD (September 19, 2026)
Run For Heroes is a community 5K run/walk held in Setauket on September 19, 2026. The event uses the Setauket Fire Department property at 190 Main Street and lists the start and finish at Jeffrey Lane and Main Street. Parking is provided at Setauket Elementary School, 134 Main Street, within a short walk of bib pickup.
Participants may pick up bibs at the Setauket Fire Department; early pickup is available on September 18. Runners who register three weeks before the event are eligible for a personalized bib. The first 150 pre-registered participants who register by August 14 are guaranteed a T-shirt, while food trucks and refreshments will be available after the run.
The event includes awards for top finishers overall and in age groups, plus separate awards for first responders. Top overall male and female finishers and top male and female first responders will receive pairs of Saucony performance sneakers, and additional pairs will be offered by raffle. A 50/50 raffle is planned.
Registration fees are non-refundable and fees apply to race expenses. There is a discount available for first responders. Proceeds benefit the Setauket Fire Department and the Three Village 9/11 Memorial. Live online results, text results, and same-day finish-line photos and video are provided.
