Run For Heroes 5K Run/Walk - Setauket FD 2027
The Run For Heroes is a 5K run/walk scheduled for September 18, 2027 in Setauket. The course starts and finishes at Jeffrey Lane and Main Street. Event logistics include parking at Setauket Elementary School (134 Main Street) and bib pickup at Setauket Fire Department (190 Main Street).
Registration is not yet open. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. The first 150 pre-registered runners are guaranteed a T-shirt if registration is completed by August 14.
Event amenities listed for the race include a 50/50 raffle, post-run refreshments, and food trucks available for purchases after the event. Results and media features include live online and email/text results, free video, and same-day finish line photos.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+. Top male and female first responders are also eligible for awards. The top overall male and female and the top male and female first responders will receive a pair of Saucony performance sneakers valued at $150, and six additional pairs will be raffled to registered participants.
