Run For Heroes 5K Run/Walk - Setauket FD 2026
This event is a community 5K run and walk held in Setauket, New York, with proceeds directed to the Setauket Fire Department and the Three Village 9/11 Memorial. The course starts and finishes at Jeffrey Lane and Main Street. Parking is available at Setauket Elementary School, and bib pickup is at the Setauket Fire Department.
Participants who register three weeks before race day can receive a personalized bib. Early bib pickup is available on September 18 at the Setauket Fire Department. The event offers post-race refreshments and food trucks for purchase. T-shirts are provided to the first 150 pre-registered participants who register by August 14 to guarantee a shirt.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, and to the top three male and female first responders; first responders are eligible for all awards. The top overall male and female finishers and the top male and female first responders each receive a pair of Saucony performance shoes, and six additional pairs of shoes will be raffled to registered participants.
