Run For Heroes 5K Run/Walk - Setauket, NY
The Run For Heroes 5K Run/Walk is a community road running event held on September 19, 2026. It is the second annual edition and takes place around the Setauket area with the Setauket Fire Department listed as the event location. The course starts and finishes at Jeffrey Lane and Main Street and the event will proceed rain or shine.
Parking is provided at Setauket Elementary School, 134 Main Street. Bib pickup is at Setauket Fire Department, 190 Main Street, with an early pickup opportunity on September 18 in the evening. Participants who register three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib.
Event amenities include post run refreshments, a 50/50 raffle, food trucks for purchase, and t shirts for the first 150 pre registered runners (guarantee date noted for pre registration). Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, age group top three finishers across multiple age categories, and top first responder finishers. Top overall finishers and top first responder finishers receive performance sneakers, and additional pairs will be raffled to registered participants.
