Run For Casey 5K
The Run For Casey 5K takes place on May 2, 2026 at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, New Jersey. The event benefits the SUDC Foundation; proceeds support awareness, research funding, and services for families affected by sudden unexplained death in childhood.
The 5K course is USATF certified and described as a scenic, flat loop with a water station near the halfway point. The 5K is chip timed and awards medals and prizes to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category. A kids 1 mile fun run will take place before the 5K and includes a kids corner with face painting, crafts, and raffles. A virtual 5K option allows participants to run or walk 3.1 miles in their own neighborhood and submit a time during race day.

Registration details include an early pricing period before April 1 and a stated registration opening on February 1. Entry fees listed for the events are $35 for the in-person 5K, $10 for the kids fun run, and $15 for the virtual 5K. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by mid-April. Advance bib pickup is available in late April at local Orange Theory locations and race-day bib pickup is available.
