Run For Casey 5K
Run For Casey 5K is a community run and walk held on May 1, 2027 at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, New Jersey. The event benefits the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Foundation and directs proceeds to awareness, research, and family services.
The 5K course is USATF certified and described as a scenic, flat loop with a water station around the halfway point. The 5K is chip timed. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age category. A kids fun run takes place prior to the 5K and a kids corner offers face painting, crafts, and raffles.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 Miles 5K race, chip timed, early bird fee $35
- 1 Mile Kids fun run with prizes and ribbons
- 3.1 Miles Virtual option, registration fee $15
Early bird pricing for the 5K is $35 through March 31, 2027. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before April 11. Parking is available on site and overflow parking is available at Union County College across the street from Nomahegan Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
