Run for Angels & Chicken-Q
The Run for Angels & Chicken-Q is the 24th annual fundraising event for Newnan-Coweta Angel's House, a licensed community-based children's shelter. The event supports teenage girls who live at Angel's House and notes more than 40,000 restful nights provided to foster girls removed from situations of abuse and neglect.
Events take place in Newnan, Georgia, with the start and finish located on Salbide Ave next to the First United Methodist Church Parish Hall. The course is certified and runs through historic downtown Newnan. Packet pick-up is available the day before at the church parish hall as well as on race day.

Timing is handled with RFID chip technology. Awards include overall male and female finishers and masters for both the 5K and 10K, and 1st through 3rd place in age groups from 10 and under through 75 and over. Group registration is available and a prize is planned for the team with the most participation.
Ellison Bros Chicken-Q is part of the event; tickets include a chicken plate with two sides, bread, dessert, and a drink and are available for purchase. A guaranteed race t-shirt requires registration by January 17, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
