About the race
Run for Angels is the 25th annual fundraising road race for Angel's House, a licensed community-based children's shelter in Newnan, Georgia. The event on February 6, 2027, raises funds to support teenage girls who live at Angel's House and is identified as the shelter's sole fundraising event.

Registration and fees vary by event. The Fun Run registration opens on 2026-09-27 and closes on 2026-12-30; the fee is $20. The 5K and 10K registrations open on 2026-09-28 and close on 2026-11-30; fees are $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for entrants registered by January 16, 2027.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Newnan First United Methodist Church Parish Hall and on race day at the venue. Walkers and strollers are welcome; pets are not allowed on the course or in the Parish Hall. The event uses RFID chip timing and awards overall male and female finishers, overall masters, and age-group prizes from 10 and under to 75 and over. Group registration is available and a prize is planned for the team with the most participation. Sponsorship donations are described as tax-deductible and directed to Angel's House.
