Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon

Peachtree City Rotary Half Marathon & 5K

The event is on January 16, 2027 in Peachtree City, Georgia, with start at Huddleston Elementary School and finish at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater Complex. Two race distances are offered:

• 13.1 Miles Half Marathon; USATF certified; minimum age 14.
• 3.1 Miles 5K; USATF certified and a qualifier for the 2027 AJC Peachtree Road Race; minimum age 6.

Both courses use paved multi use paths and include short sections of paved road. Descriptions note wooded greenspace, shade trees, ponds, and short tunnels along the routes. The Half Marathon course is described as approximately 1.2 miles on paved road plus 11.9 miles on rolling paved golf cart paths. The 5K course includes about 0.9 miles of paved street and 2.2 miles of paved rolling golf cart paths.

Timing uses a disposable electronic chip attached to each bib; overall top finishers are determined by gun time while age group and masters awards use chip finish time. All finishers in both races receive a finisher medal at the finish. Course support includes bag check, heated tent at the finish area, portable restrooms, water and Gatorade stations, stationary and roving marshals, EMTs on bikes, and a finish area with refreshments. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the route. If the in person event is canceled, registered runners will be moved to a virtual event and shirts and medals will be mailed.
