Run for Amma - May 16, 2026
Run for Amma is an annual charity run taking place at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, California. The event is in its 15th year. Its purpose is to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, with 100% of registration proceeds donated directly to the UCSF Julia Carnevale Lab.
The event offers three trail running distances: 50K, 30K, and 10K.
Parking for all races is at the finish area in the Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve equestrian lot. Bib pickup for the 50K and 30K races is scheduled for the morning of the event.
The race is supported by the Stevens Creek Striders and Quicksilver running clubs, along with other volunteers. Volunteer roles include course marking, aid station work, course sweeping, and shuttle services. Detailed route information and maps are available on the event's website.
