Run for ALD, Cure the Boys: 10th Anniversary
Organized by Knockout ALD, this event is the 10th annual Run for ALD held at Tremayne Shelter in Creve Coeur Park, Maryland Heights, Missouri, on November 21, 2026. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options so participants can take part from the local park or remotely on their own schedule.

- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 1 Mile
Both in-person and virtual registrations include a free event T-shirt; registrations received by October 21 guarantee a shirt. Packet pickup is available the day before at the organizer's location in Chesterfield, Missouri and on race morning at Tremayne Shelter.
Awards are given only for the in-person 5K: overall top three male and overall top three female finishers, plus medals for the top three male and female in each age group (10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+).
The event raises funds for research on adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare progressive genetic disease that most severely affects boys. One hundred percent of funds raised are directed to the University of Minnesota Leukodystrophy Center for ALD Research to support early identification, development of therapies, and treatment options.
