Run for A-Rare-Ness & Wiffle for a Cure
This community fundraising event takes place in Harriman, Tennessee on May 2, 2026. It combines timed running races, a one mile fun walk, a wiffle ball tournament, and family-focused activities such as food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, yoga, and vendors. Events are based at The Swan Pond Sports Complex and use a paved path through Lakeshore Park along Watts Bar Lake.
The running program includes a timed 10K and a timed 5K. The one mile fun walk is not timed. The wiffle ball tournament is open to all ages, requires teams of four to five players, and guarantees a minimum of two games. An event T-shirt option is available for pickup at the event only, with no shipping. Registration fees are listed for each event.
Proceeds benefit The Kennedy Ladd Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports families affected by MPS1-Hurler Syndrome and funds research and patient assistance, including equipment and gift card support for patients.
