Event
The Run for A-Rare-Ness & Wiffle for a Cure takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 101 Swan Pond Road, Harriman, TN 37748. The event is the 6th annual edition and includes multiple race and activity options:
- 10K Run
- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Walk (not timed)
Additional on-site activities include a Wiffle Ball tournament with a Homerun Derby, vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and yoga. A virtual 5k or walk option is available and virtual participants are eligible to receive a commemorative shirt. An event t-shirt is offered separately.

Proceeds benefit The Kennedy Ladd Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on families affected by MPS1-Hurler Syndrome. Foundation initiatives listed for beneficiaries include providing devices and gift cards to patients and funding research to improve treatment options and pursue a cure.
