Run Bournemouth : October 2026
Run Bournemouth takes place on 10th and 11th October 2026 along the Bournemouth coastline. The programme includes a half marathon, a 10K, a 5K and several junior races for children of different ages. The event route uses both Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers and finishes near Bournemouth Pier Approach.
The half marathon covers 13.1 miles and is described as suitable for first time half-marathon runners, with the October date allowing preparation through the spring and summer months. Finishers receive a medal and a finisher t-shirt. The Supersonic 10K is presented as a flat, fast course along the coast. The Supernova 5K starts on Bournemouth Prom and takes place at dusk with an emphasis on light along the route.
Junior races include a 2K for ages 9–12, a 1.5K for ages 6–8 and a Kids' Kilometre for ages 3–6. The Kids' Kilometre takes in Bournemouth Pier and requires children to be accompanied by an adult; adults do not need an entry to accompany a child.
