Run Bournemouth is a multi-race event held in Bournemouth on 10 and 11 October 2026 along the town's coastline. Distances offered include:
- 13.1 miles - Half Marathon
- 10K - Supersonic 10K
- 5K - Supernova 5K
- 2K - Junior 2K
- 1.5K - Junior 1.5K
- 1 km - Kids' Kilometre
The event uses coastal roads and promenades and includes routes that pass Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers.
Course details and age categories
The Half Marathon follows a coastal route that takes in Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers and finishes at Bournemouth Pier Approach. The 10K also follows the same coastal section and is described as a flat course. The 5K starts on Bournemouth Prom and finishes near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens; it takes place at dusk with an emphasis on lighting around the route.
Junior races start on Bournemouth Prom and finish near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens. Age categories are: 9-12 for the Junior 2K, 6-8 for the Junior 1.5K, and 3-6 for the Kids' Kilometre. Children in the Kids' Kilometre must be accompanied by an adult; adults do not need an entry to accompany a child. Finishers receive a medal and a finisher t-shirt.
