Run Bournemouth - 9th and 10th October 2027
Run Bournemouth is a multi-race event on the Bournemouth coastline featuring road races that pass Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers. The programme includes a half marathon of 13.1 miles, a 10K and a 5K, plus several junior distances. The half marathon finishes at Bournemouth Pier Approach and finishers receive a medal and a finisher t-shirt.
The Supersonic 10K is described as a flat, fast coastal course that also passes Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers. The Supernova 5K starts on Bournemouth Prom and finishes near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens; it takes place at dusk and places an emphasis on lighting along the route.
Junior and children's races run on coastal and promenade routes. The Junior 2K is for runners aged 9 to 12 and the Junior 1.5K is for runners aged 6 to 8; both start on Bournemouth Prom and finish near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens. The Kids' Kilometre is for children aged 3 to 6, takes in Bournemouth Pier, and requires that each child is accompanied by an adult. Adults do not need an entry to accompany children.
