Event overview
Run Bournemouth takes place on the Bournemouth coastline in October 2026. The programme includes a half marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and several children’s races. The half marathon follows a coastal route that passes Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers and finishes at Bournemouth Pier Approach. Finishers of the half marathon receive a medal and a finisher t-shirt. The 10K uses a flat, coastal course that also takes in Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers. The 5K starts on Bournemouth Prom and runs to the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens; it is held at dusk with an emphasis on light along the route.

- 13.1 miles Half Marathon - coastal course via Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers.
- 10K Supersonic - flat, coastal route via Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers.
- 5K Supernova - starts on Bournemouth Prom, finishes near Run Bournemouth Hub, dusk route.
- 2K Junior - ages 9-12, starts on Bournemouth Prom, finishes near Run Bournemouth Hub.
- 1.5K Junior - ages 6-8, coastal route, starts on Bournemouth Prom, finishes near Run Bournemouth Hub.
- 1K Kids' Kilometre - ages 3-6, takes in Bournemouth Pier, must be accompanied by an adult.
