Phil and Bonnie Bounder 10k Forest Run
The event is a 10 km trail race held on 13 September 2026 with Race HQ at Moreton Village Hall, The Common, Moreton DT2 8RE. The minimum age to enter is 16 years. Entry fees are £17 for unaffiliated runners and £15 for affiliated runners; the price is inclusive. All finishers receive a medal.
The course follows a mixture of typical forest tracks and woodland paths in Moreton Forest and adjoining woodland. Runners will encounter sweeping wide tracks, rough and undulating terrain, tree roots underfoot and trees located in the middle of the route. There are two stiles to cross and a stream on the course. If conditions are wet, some sections may be muddy. The final kilometre runs on a quiet country road.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and is run under UK Athletic rules. It is held in memory of two people and aims to raise money for the charity Bonnie’s Last Wish for Suffering Donkeys.
