The in-person course follows the Mount Vernon Trail, running from Daingerfield Island toward Gravelly Point. The route includes views of the Potomac River and of aircraft at Reagan National Airport. Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend.
Points earned at the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and they also count toward the Winter Series. Virtual participation is available in several formats, including options with a medal and with a medal and shirt, as well as a virtual entry without medal or shirt.
