Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The Run Aintree event takes place at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, a venue widely recognized for hosting the Grand National steeplechase. Participants have the opportunity to compete on a flat and quick road course that consists of laps around the race circuit. The event supports the University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity.
The following distances are available:
- Half Marathon: A flat course with a total elevation of 76m, consisting of an out-and-back section plus 4 laps.
- 10k: A flat road race featuring 2 laps of the circuit with an elevation of 38m.
- 5k: A single lap course with a total elevation of 19m.
Every kilometre and mile is accurately marked with flags, and marshals are positioned throughout the course to provide guidance and encouragement. The event utilizes chip-timing to provide results for all participants.
Entry fees include a themed medal, water, post-race goodies, and free race photos. An event village is located on-site, providing various food and drink options for participants and spectators.
