Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The Run Aintree event takes place at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, a venue famous for hosting the Grand National steeplechase. This event supports the University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity and offers participants a chance to run on a flat, road-based circuit.
The following distances are available:
- 5k: A single lap course with 19m of elevation.
- 10k: A two-lap course with 38m of elevation.
- Half Marathon: An out and back section plus four laps, with 76m of elevation.
The course is designed to be quick and flat, with each mile and kilometre accurately marked by flags. Marshals are positioned throughout the route to provide guidance to the finish line. An event village at the site features various food and drink options as well as post-race amenities.
Every participant receives chip-timed results, free race photos, and a themed medal upon completion. Post-race goodies and water are also provided. During the registration process, there is an option to purchase an event t-shirt featuring the race logo.
