Event Information
The Aintree Half Marathon, 10k & 5k is scheduled for Sunday, 10th May 2026 at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. The event offers three race distances: a Half Marathon, a 10K, and a 5K. Start times are staggered, with the half marathon beginning first.
The Course
The event takes place at the world-famous Aintree Racecourse. The course consists of laps around the racecourse circuit and is described as flat and on road terrain. The layout is as follows:
- The 5K involves 1 lap.
- The 10K involves 2 laps.
- The Half Marathon involves 4 laps.
The course will have each kilometre or mile accurately marked with distance flags. Marshals will be present on the route.
Entry Details
Entry includes a themed finisher's medal, chip timing, free race photos, water, and post-race goodies. Participants can optionally purchase an event t-shirt at the time of entry. A portion of the event supports the University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity. An entry option called the "RunThrough Foundation Place" is also available, which does not require fundraising.
