Event overview
The Run Against ALS event in Mountain Lakes, NJ, takes place on May 17, 2025. The program includes a 5K run/walk and a noncompetitive 1 mile Kids Fun Run. The event is held rain or shine. An official course map is provided by the organizer. Parking is directed to Briarcliff Middle School or Wildwood Elementary School.

Services and participant information: live online, text, and email results are available; finish line photos are free; personalized bibs are offered for registrations made at least three weeks before the event; race shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 4/30/2025. In-person bib pickup is available at the race site the morning of the event. Virtual participants receive mailed bibs within a shipping window from one week before to one week after the event and may upload times and photos between May 17 and May 25. The Kids Fun Run is noncompetitive, will not have chip timing, and fun run participants receive a t-shirt.
Awards: top three male and female overall and top three male and female in age groups (14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over).
Beneficiary: proceeds support Run Against ALS, which raises funds for people affected by ALS, equipment and essential items, and ALS research. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old or accompanied by an adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
