About the race
Run 4 the Border takes place on August 8, 2026 in Charlotte, NC, near Park Road Shopping Center (4337 Park Rd). The event offers multiple distances on the city greenway system.

The course follows paved trails and maintained greenway paths through urban parks, bridges, and tree-lined sections. The terrain is described as flat and non-technical. GPX files are provided for each distance.
Runners may change distance during the event and move up or down based on how they are feeling. Aid stops are located at Taco Bell restaurants; participants spin a Wheel of Fate at those stops to determine food items. The event is cupless, so participants are expected to carry a refillable bottle for hydration.
Shirt orders will be placed on July 25 and shirts will not be available through registration after that date. Registration is planned to close on August 7 unless the event sells out. Parking, food, and lodging options are available in the Park Road Shopping Center area.
