About the race
Run 4 the Border is a themed endurance event in Charlotte, NC, presented by Urban Runners. The course uses the city greenway system and passes through urban parks, scenic bridges, leafy neighborhoods, and groves of oak trees. The route is described as flat, paved, and non-technical, and it starts near Park Road Shopping Center.

Participants may change distances mid-race. Course files in GPX format are available for the routes.
Aid stops are located at Taco Bell restaurants. At each stop participants spin a Wheel of Fate to determine a food item. The event is cupless; runners must bring a refillable bottle for hydration.
Registration opens May 5, 2026, and will remain open unless the event sells out. Registering by July 17 is noted for eligibility to receive the event tee. Shirt printing orders are scheduled in late July.
