Run 4 Relay 5k : Brunswick, GA
The Run 4 Relay 5k is part of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Glynn County events held in downtown Brunswick on May 8. The race course winds through the historic downtown area. The event is added to existing community activities that offer an opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those affected by cancer, and raise funds to help end the disease.
All 5k participants receive a T-shirt and a medal. The race will be timed and official results will be posted. Runners are invited to join before the race to cheer on survivors during the symbolic Survivor Lap.
A block party follows the event with live music by South of Savannah Band, food trucks, and family activities. Attendees may bring chairs for seating during the festivities. Registration information provided by the organizer notes an entry fee of $30.00, with registration opening on March 16 and closing on April 4.
