Run 4 Recovery in Smithfield, North Carolina is the 11th annual event supporting Recovery Alive at Temple City Church. The event spans September 26–27, 2026, at 500 M Durwood Stephenson Parkway, Smithfield, NC 27577 and includes in-person and virtual participation options.

Registration opens May 27 and closes September 4, 2026. Early bird fees through September 4 are $30 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Temple City Church, 1250 South Pollock Street, Selma, NC 27576. Race day packet pickup will be available at the park entrance under the large shelter. The race start location is 500 M Durwood Stephenson Parkway.
Virtual participants may complete their run September 26–27 and upload results through RaceJoy. Virtual runners receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal while supplies last. Participants may pick up shirts locally or request shipping for an additional $5; registrations with shipping placed by September 1 are guaranteed delivery by race day, later registrations are not guaranteed.
Awards will be presented to the top two overall male and female finishers, the top two male and female finishers in each age category for both races, the fastest team, and the largest team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
