Polar Bear Run, Selma

The Polar Bear Run in Selma takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 201 N Webb Street, Selma, NC 27576. The event features a 5K course that begins in the Town of Selma, runs through a local community, and returns to downtown Selma.

The run supports Isaiah 117 House, a local nonprofit organization in Johnston County. Donations are welcome on race day. Current needs listed by the organizer include gift cards (McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A), individually packed snacks, shoes of all sizes, and teen hygiene items. Pets that enjoy running are permitted to participate and are noted as running free.

Registration pricing is tiered: early bird pricing through January 11th is Adults 18 and over $25, Children 10–17 $15, under 10 free. From January 12 until the day of the event pricing is Adults 18 and over $35, Children 10–17 $25, under 10 free. A T-shirt is included for registrations completed by January 11th.
