About the race
Run 4 Health is a community 5K Run and Walk held in Niceville, FL, presented by the Okaloosa County Community Health Improvement Partnership (OCHIP) in support of the Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast. The event uses the theme "Running Through the Decades"; participants are encouraged to wear attire from a favorite decade and prizes are awarded for best dressed individual and group. Awards for participants include Overall Male and Overall Female and Male and Female 1st through 3rd in age groups. The event program includes an awards presentation, family field day activities, food trucks, and vendor booths. Registration opens 10/30/2026 and closes 2/27/2027; the stated registration fee is $25.00.
In-person registration is available at packet pick up locations. The event is rain or shine and registration fees are nonrefundable. T-shirts for registrations after March 16 are distributed on a first come first serve basis. All sponsorships, donations, and event proceeds will benefit the Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast and are considered undesignated funds unless a donor specifies otherwise.
