Run 4 Health
The Run 4 Health takes place at the Golf Club at Bluewater Bay in Niceville, Florida. This event is organized by the Okaloosa County Community Health Improvement Partnership (OCHIP) to benefit the Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast. The 2026 edition features a specific theme titled "Safety First," where participants are invited to dress as community helpers, such as healthcare workers, teachers, firefighters, or police officers.
The event offers the following distance:
- 5k Run/Walk
The race utilizes chip timing and scoring for all participants. The course setup includes an awards ceremony held after the run. Awards are presented to the overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 11 and under to 80 and older. Specific awards are also available for Masters participants aged 40 and over.
Beyond the main race, the event includes a Kids' Fun Zone, vendor booths, and food trucks. Breakfast options are provided by the Blue Tee Restaurant. Proceeds from the event are directed toward the SAFE Start Grant, an initiative designed to help childcare providers improve security at their local facilities.
