Run 2 Remember - 10th Annual
Run 2 Remember is a community event held on May 16, 2026, at Salem Riverfront Park, 200 Water Street NE, Salem, OR 97301. The event features a main 5 kilometer run/walk open to all ages and a half mile kids run for ages 6 to 12. Participation is free to attendees and open to the community.
This is the tenth annual observance honoring men and women who died in service. Organizers reach out to survivors and family members to promote a community of support on behalf of those described as "Never Forgotten." The event is funded through donations and sponsorships from local businesses and the community, with donations processed through the Veteran of Foreign Wars as tax deductible.
Key event details include registration opening on July 29, 2025, and closing on May 9, 2026, with no registration fee. T-shirt availability is limited: the first 600 registered for the 5K prior to April 1, 2026, and the first 100 registered for the kids run will receive a shirt while supplies last.
