10th Annual Run 2 Remember
The 10th Annual Run 2 Remember takes place on May 16, 2026 at Salem Riverfront Park, 200 Water Street NE, Salem, OR 97301. The event includes a community 5K run and walk and a separate kids event for younger participants. Participation is open to the community and the event is free to participants.
Distances:
- 5K run/walk, open to all ages
- Half mile kids run, ages 6 to 12
This event marks the tenth year of honoring men and women who have died in service to the country. Organizers reach out to survivors and family members to promote a community of support on behalf of those described as Never Forgotten. The event is funded through donations and sponsorships from local businesses and community contributors. Donations are tax deductible through the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
The race capacity is capped at 400 runners; this cap does not include staff and volunteers. Parking is available to the north of the Pavilion, in two other nearby parking lots, and on the street across from the park.
