Event overview
The Rubik's Cube race takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at North Lakes Park in Denton, Texas. The event is presented by Run Different and offers multiple race options and a virtual entry. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (registrations by April 11 guarantee t-shirt size) and a finisher medal cube for the 5K, 10K, 15K and 1 Mile entries.

Registration, awards and other details
Entry fees vary by event. The Kid's Dash is free; other event fees are listed by the organizer. The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint; dashers may purchase a t-shirt and finisher medal as add-ons. The 1 Mile option is untimed and has no age group awards. The virtual option includes shipped shirt and medal sent the week of the race.
Age group awards are given four deep for the 5K, 10K and 15K in male and female divisions ranging from 0-4 through 80+. Overall awards include overall male and female, male and female masters (40+), and male and female grand masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Run Different donates 25% of profits and 100% of donations to Autism Speaks. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
