Event Overview
The Rubik's Cube running event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at North Lakes Park in Denton, Texas. It is the second annual edition of this race.
Distances and Registration
The event offers several race options:
- Kid's Dash (100–200 meters) - free entry
- 15K - $52 registration
- 10K - $45 registration
- 5K - $38 registration
- 1 Mile - $20 registration
- Virtual Option - $40 registration
Registration prices for the 15K, 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile increase after April 17, 2026.
Participant Perks and Awards
Standard registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a finisher medal for the 5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile events. T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations submitted by April 11.
The timed events (5K, 10K, and 15K) feature overall and age-group awards. Age group awards are presented four deep for male and female categories across numerous divisions, starting from 0-4 up to 80+. The race is gun-timed.
The 1 Mile option is an untimed event with no age-group awards. The free Kid's Dash participants can purchase t-shirts and medals as add-ons.
Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Results should be checked prior to leaving.
Additional Information
Volunteers can earn a code for a free race entry. A portion of the event's profits and all donations go to support Autism Speaks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
