Rubik's Cube takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Rd., Denton, TX 76207. The event offers multiple race options:
- Kid's Dash (short 100–200 m sprint, free)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- Virtual Option
Listed entry fees are: Kid's Dash $0, 1 Mile $18, 5K $35, 10K $42, 15K $50, Virtual $40. Registration for some events ends April 25, 2026. Some race fees increase after December 31, 2025. A multi-event bundle offers a 30% discount per event and includes five races.
Race features and awards
Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (size guaranteed if registered by April 11) and a finisher medal cube for the 5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile. Age-group awards are given 4 deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters categories (including 40+ and 60+ divisions) receive overall medals. Awards are distributed on site; they will not be shipped. The 1 Mile is untimed and has no age-group awards. Mapped courses are provided for 5K, 10K (two laps), and 15K (three laps).
Charity and volunteering
The organizer, Run Different, supports charities including Autism Speaks. The organizer states it donates 25% of all profits and 100% of all donations to this organization.
